Our client required an automated packaging solution for their trays of fresh ready meals. The Tray & Hood system designed and engineering by HMPS includes two case packers.
This video shows one of the case packers collates products via dual robots then positions a hood over. The hood is then folded around the products and then transferred onto the blank tray where hot melt adhesive is applied to keep the tray and hood together.
